Advanced Dataloggers for Climate Monitoring
Partnership with LSI-Lastem s.r.l.
Ravebo has been a long-standing partner of LSI-Lastem s.r.l. for supplying systems and sensors for indoor climate measurements and outdoor weather stations. The latest generation of dataloggers is compatible with already existing sensors, while also being highly suitable for universal use. These dataloggers are simple to configure for all types of input signals (analog and digital) and are therefore applicable as universal dataloggers. With these dataloggers, logging starts immediately when turned on. Once memory is full, the oldest data is overwritten. There is ample memory to store over one month of data in practical use.
Advantages and Functionalities of the Dataloggers
These dataloggers also offer the following additional benefits:
- Calculations can be programmed directly based on measured parameters, such as the WBGT index, Relative Humidity from forced dry and wet bulb temperatures, or a custom calculation;
- With software, all measured parameters can be displayed on a PC screen (dashboard software), providing a clear real-time overview of all data;
- Dataloggers support standard output protocols like MODBUS;
- Dataloggers can be connected to a GSM modem, enabling remote access;
- Dataloggers can be connected to a computer network, possibly via WiFi, allowing remote access to data within your organization;
- Certain models are equipped for radio communication with other loggers and/or compatible sensors;
- Dataloggers can be read during data storage. Your measurement doesn’t need to be interrupted—you can immediately begin processing the collected data.
Configuration for IAQ Measurements
For IAQ measurements, for instance, the following setup can be created: An M-log (Mini) logger with accurate sensors for air temperature, humidity, air velocity (draft), and CO2 concentration. These loggers have more than enough memory to monitor for over a month. Through a network connection, the memory can be read remotely for processing. Practically, a colleague can move the setup to the next measurement location. This allows for more creative scheduling of measurements and fast feedback to your team.
