Periodic Maintenance
Stationary continuous monitoring systems also require periodic maintenance. Lechler Process Technology B.V. performs on-site maintenance where the condition of the sampling system and the analyzers themselves is checked — both in terms of general condition and internal hardware. After a full maintenance procedure, a leak test and re-calibration are carried out. Following the re-calibration, a linearity test and a T90 test of the entire sampling and analysis system are performed.

Annual Quality Check
Lechler often provides support and assistance during the annual quality check of the continuous monitoring system, known as the AST (Annual Surveillance Test). For a CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System), this is performed by a laboratory accredited to carry out measurements according to the reference methods (SRM = Standard Reference Method).
During the AST, the following actions are performed:
- General inspection;
- Functional tests:
- Inspection,
- Leak test,
- Response time check,
- Zero reading and known concentration check,
- Linearity verification.
- Calibration of the continuous monitoring system using standard reference methods;
- Evaluation of results according to NEN-EN 14181.
