Our partner, Sintrol Oy, develops and manufactures inline dust measurement equipment for industrial applications. These applications include monitoring the operation of filter systems and continuously monitoring dust emissions. They also apply the same principle in a monitor for ambient dust, which is highly suitable for industrial environments.
Tribo-electric probes, which these probes are an advanced development of, have long been used for monitoring filter systems in industrial processes. The probes perform well in dry processes and reliably detect increases in dust levels. When the dust concentration in the duct rises and remains elevated, this indicates a problem or the rupture of one or more filters.
The most basic sensor only triggers an alarm. However, in most cases, a sensor is used that also provides a 4–20 mA output, allowing the dust concentration trend to be tracked over time. These probes are also available with ATEX certification.
The Sintrol S305Q QAL dust monitor is a TÜV-certified QAL1 probe, making it suitable as an official continuous dust emission monitor. The certification covers the ranges 0–7.5, 0–15, and 0–100 mg/m³. The probe features 2 relay outputs, a 4–20 mA output, and is equipped with an RS485 interface (MODBUS RTU communication protocol).
It is possible to install one or more stationary monitors using this measurement principle, for example in a factory hall. These are the so-called DUMO monitors. They track the trend of total dust concentration in the environment. The module is compact and robust, making it suitable for industrial process environments.
Ravebo stands for sustainable cooperation with its clients. Both within Ravebo and with our manufacturers, we work with short and direct lines — and that’s practical! We are happy to get started with your request for your application in measuring and monitoring dust and gases.
