Portable FID Analyzer for Emission Measurements
Emissions of the parameter CxHy (total) are determined in accordance with NEN-EN 12619. This standard prescribes the use of the FID analyzer. Sampling is carried out via a probe, heated filter, and a heated sampling line. All heated components, as well as the flame ionization detector, operate at a minimum temperature of 180°C. Because the analysis is extractive, the residence time should be as short as possible. This minimizes the risk of losing heavier components in the sampling line when monitoring hydrocarbons.
Total Organic Carbon
For periodic TOC (Total Organic Carbon) emission measurements, the portable Polaris FID-SE is an ideal instrument. This FID is TÜV certified and complies with the requirements of EN 12619 for determining emissions of total gaseous organic carbon.

Heated FID
The Polaris is a portable heated FID that uses a metal hydride cartridge for hydrogen supply, which fuels the flame in the detector. This design ensures a compact and easy-to-handle system. The technician can place this portable analyzer close to the sampling point. The applied gas sampling probe is the so-called HP-1 sampling probe. This probe is very compact and practical in terms of use, installation, and connection/mounting of the heated line.
The combination of the probe, heated sampling line, and Polaris FID analyzer provides a very practical and reliable solution for periodic emission measurements.
