NDIR
NDIR cells (Non-Dispersive InfraRed) are designed to utilize the infrared absorption properties of gas molecules. In many cases, gas analysis with infrared spectrometry is highly effective. The NDIR measuring cell of the gas analyzer typically consists of the following components: an infrared light source, a measurement cell through which the sample gas flows, one or more optical filters to select specific wavelengths, and a detector to measure the intensity.
Detecting Gases
Many common components can be measured using NDIR technology. These include: CO (Carbon Monoxide), CO2 (Carbon Dioxide), NO (Nitric Oxide), N2O (Nitrous Oxide), SO2 (Sulfur Dioxide), and CH4 (Methane).
Single and Multi-Gas Analyzers
NDIR analyzers are available as single-gas or multi-gas analyzers. In multi-gas analyzers, additional measuring principles can be integrated. This allows us to provide practical and versatile gas analysis solutions tailored to your specific applications. For example, the measurement of CO, CO2, and O2 can be efficiently combined in a single analyzer.
The gas analyzers are available in various configurations:
- 19” rack system;
- Portable version;
- Wall-mounted analyzer;
- Single-component analyzer;
- Multi-component analyzer;
- Hot-wet gas analyzer;
- Integration of various measuring principles for applications such as Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS);
- QAL 1 certified, TÜV / MCERTS.
