NDIR Configurations

Ravebo offers extensive expertise and a broad assortment of NDIR solutions. We can provide and integrate a variety of options into customized systems. First and foremost, the cold NDIR single and multi-component analyzers. These can be configured as 19” rack units, in Ex d housing, as Qal-1 certified analyzers, or as mobile units.

Various Principles

Other measurement principles can also be integrated into these analyzers, such as oxygen measurement using a paramagnetic sensor. These analyzers are considered “cold” and are often used in combination with a gas cooler for process or emission measurements.

Heated Analyzer

When the use of a gas cooler is not desired, for example due to the risk of losing a measurable component, a heated analyzer is a good alternative. In heated analyzers, the lines and cells through which the sample gas flows are maintained at a high temperature to prevent condensation. In case of process or emission measurements, the gas sample is transported heated to the analyzer. These analyzers are available as 19” rack units and as mobile versions. Qal-1 certified analyzers are also available in the 19” rack version.

Portable Analyzers

For applications in ambient or indoor air, we can configure fully portable analyzers. These do not achieve the same accuracy as mobile or stationary units. However, for many specific gas components and mixtures, we can provide a suitable solution using infrared spectrometry. Let us know your requirements, and we will gladly take on the challenge to provide tailored advice.
