Innovative ST2 for Velocity and Flow Rate Measurements
Development of the ST2
The ST2 was developed for performing velocity and flow measurements in accordance with EN-ISO 16911. The measurement points are determined according to EN 15259. The device follows these calculations for positioning the pitot tube. In addition to these measurements, a program is also provided for manually performing isokinetic sampling. Even a leak test procedure is included in the ST2.
The ST2 can store libraries with information about the measurement locations and the pitot tubes being used.
Features and Options of the ST2
The optionally required correction factor for wall effects (Wall Adjustment Factor) can also be entered. The correct stack and pitot tube can be selected prior to measurements, and the desired measurement points are automatically selected, as well as the correct velocity and flow calculations performed. The ST2 can also communicate via Bluetooth, allowing all data to be entered into an app and then transferred to the instrument. Measurement data can be read via both the app and USB stick.
Optionally, the unit can be equipped with a second differential pressure sensor, allowing for simultaneous measurements of the relevant measurement point and a reference point. This provides a solution for a proper repeatability test as described in EN-ISO 16911.
The ST2 is a complete micromanometer with thermocouple readout, specifically designed as the perfect tool for emission and flow measurements. Even the angle of the flow relative to the axis of the duct can be determined using the built-in inclinometer.
