Oxygen Monitoring at Danielson Europe B.V.
Since its founding in 1938, Danielson Europe B.V. has grown into a leading producer of Man-Machine Interfaces (MMI). Danielson offers customer-specific solutions for the most demanding markets and applications. The MMI product range includes membrane switches, piezo switches, capacitive switches, rubber keypads, and touchscreens. To achieve a sustainable and future-oriented end product, Danielson designs and manufactures these complete user interface solutions according to high-quality standards. The production process includes a screen-printing facility. Within this facility, there is a production line where ink is cured using UV light. To structure the ink, nitrogen is added to the process via a piping system. The drying machine is connected to the pipeline with a thick rubber hose. In the event of a nitrogen leak, the oxygen in the room is displaced. A too-low oxygen concentration poses a risk of suffocation. To eliminate this risk, Ravebo B.V. supplied a solid and durable oxygen analyzer. This analyzer is equipped with a zirconium dioxide sensor. Compared to conventional oxygen transmitters with electrochemical cells, this offers the following advantages:
1. Durable, low-maintenance monitor;
2. Long service life of the sensor (>5 years);
3. Reliable measurement technology with little to no sensor drift.
The oxygen analyzer delivered to Danielson Europe B.V. for environmental monitoring is a wall-mounted version, equipped with configurable alarm thresholds, a flashing light, and an audio alarm.
